EngagED is an education and technology startup focused on creating digital learning experiences, strategic educational products and brand-driven solutions for the education market.
The rebranding project was developed to reposition the company through a more innovative, technological, modern and strategic visual identity — one that could better reflect its values, internal culture and future direction.
The project covered the full rebranding process, from research and internal discovery to final brand delivery, including visual identity, brand language, typography, moodboard, personas, photographic direction, visual assets, physical materials and a complete brandbook.
Challenge
The main challenge was to redesign EngagED’s brand identity without losing its existing recognition. The logo structure needed to be preserved, but the brand needed a new visual and strategic system capable of expressing innovation, technology, education, clarity and authority.
Before moving into design execution, it was necessary to understand the company from the inside out: its team, values, internal perception, market positioning, communication gaps and future goals.
The rebrand could not be based only on aesthetics. It needed to be built from research, strategic interpretation and a clear understanding of the company’s identity.
Process
The project began with a four-month research and discovery phase, focused on understanding EngagED’s business context, collaborators, internal culture and brand perception.
This research phase helped identify patterns, strengths, communication opportunities and strategic directions for the new brand. The findings were then translated into a design thinking process, connecting data, brand positioning and creative development.
From there, the visual system was redesigned to support a more premium, technological and future-oriented identity.
Creative Direction
The creative direction was built around the idea of a strategic, innovative and sophisticated EdTech brand.
The new identity introduced a stronger visual system, combining Viva Magenta as a protagonist color with a refined digital aesthetic based on depth, contrast and glassmorphism. The goal was to create a brand that felt modern, intelligent and visually distinctive, while still remaining clear, accessible and connected to education.
The logo kept its original structure, preserving brand recognition, but was updated with a new color logic and visual environment. The typography system, moodboard, brand language, personas, photographic direction and graphic applications were redesigned to create a more cohesive and strategic brand experience.
The rebrand also included the development of prompts and AI-oriented creative guidelines specifically designed for the company, helping the brand maintain consistency across future visual production.
Impact
The rebranding created a more mature, strategic and future-facing identity for EngagED. The new brand system helped translate the company’s values into a stronger visual language, aligning education, technology, innovation and business positioning.
By combining research, internal discovery and creative direction, the project gave EngagED a clearer foundation for communication, visual consistency and brand growth.
The final result was not only a visual update, but a complete strategic repositioning system designed to support the company’s next stage.
