Public speaking is one of the most common fears among professionals — and for creative teams, presenting ideas to clients can often feel just as intimidating as creating the work itself.
This internal project was developed for the design team at Raizhe Digital Projects with the goal of helping designers feel more confident, prepared and intentional when presenting creative work to clients.
Instead of approaching the topic through a traditional corporate training format, the presentation used storytelling and illustration as learning tools. The narrative followed Rai, a small dog character representing the designer, as he faced the “coyotes” — a metaphor for the fear, pressure and perceived intimidation that can appear during client presentations.
Challenge
The main challenge was to transform a sensitive and often uncomfortable topic — fear of presenting creative work — into something accessible, engaging and memorable for the design team.
The material needed to help designers understand not only how to present their work, but also how to build confidence, create connection with the audience and communicate creative decisions with more clarity.
Creative Direction
The creative direction was based on a simple but emotionally relatable narrative: a small character facing something bigger than himself.
Through custom illustrations, visual metaphors and a light educational structure, the project turned a potentially dense subject into a clear and human learning experience. The “coyotes” were used as a symbolic representation of the fears designers often project onto clients, audiences and high-pressure moments.
The visual language was intentionally friendly, direct and memorable, making the content easier to absorb while still addressing a real professional challenge.
Impact
The presentation generated strong engagement from the creative team and helped reframe client presentations as moments of connection rather than confrontation.
By using storytelling and illustration, the project made the learning experience more memorable and approachable. Designers left with practical tools to communicate their ideas more clearly, present with more confidence and face high-pressure situations with a stronger sense of preparation.
The project demonstrated how visual storytelling can be used not only for external campaigns, but also as a strategic tool for internal education, team development and creative culture.
